About the Event
WIN PRIZES - FREE FOOD - MEET CREATIVE PEOPLE - IMPACT HUNGER
Join fellow students from Coe College, Mount Mercy University, and Kirkwood Community College to take part in an Innovation Works® session to create solutions for impacting food insecurity in the Cedar Rapids Region. You'll win prizes by working in teams to create and pitch solutions for challenges faced by HACAP's Food Reservoir - a Feeding America member food bank that provides food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response.
In addition to fun prizes, you'll meet other innovative students, and have the chance to connect with Alliant Energy to learn about internship and employment opportunities.
This event includes FREE dinner and will take place in the lower level of Gage Memorial Union at Coe College. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Check-in and grab dinner. We start the innovation games at 6p.
The College Innovation Series is sponsored by Alliant Energy and engages college students in creating new solutions for challenges in the communities they serve.
