About the Event
The Innovation Lab is working with the City of Dubuque, with support from Dubuque County and the National League of Cities, to learn more about the needs of Latino entrepreneurs in our community.
This project is part of our effort to develop solutions for barriers that make it harder for people to start or grow their businesses in Dubuque. You can help us learn more about the challenges you face as a Latino business owner or someone with an idea for starting a business.
This project has 4 steps:
STEP 1 - Listening Sessions - May 21 and June 17
STEP 2 - Innovation Session - June 2024 - date TBD - we will create solutions for some of the barriers we learn about at the listening session
STEP 3 - Seed Funding - July 2024 - we will offer seed funding awards ($500-2,500) to help Latino entrepreneurs start or grow their…
