Join us for Launch Day!
The Innovation Lab hosted Venture School with support from The University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) this fall. On Wednesday, November 10 from 5:30- 7:30 PM we will be celebrating Local Launch Day where we will hear from the startups that participated these last few months.
Local Launch Day will be set up ‘shark tank’ style. Teams will pitch to a panel of judges for a chance to win $3,000 in prize money for their business. This event is open to the public and we encourage you to attend and bring friends!
Venture School is a 7-week innovative training program focused on real-world experimentation, customer discovery, and Lean LaunchPad methodologies. This program uses the official National Science Foundation I-Corps curriculum designed to reduce the time and risk associated with starting a business.
